Back to the Player's Guide Index
At this time the city of Ciston is a settlement in the wilderness. The Adventurers Guild there is not operational. The senior members listed below are temporarily helping out in the Antar and Barstow guilds.
Hedda, ID# 250
Hedda seems to consider each of the guild members as one of her children, and tries to smother everyone with motherly love and concern. Goodhearted to a fault, Hedda is the calm eye in the hurricane of Ciston, except for when this doting ogre goes berserk.
Hedda usually fights wearing plate mail armor and a light helm, with a heavy warhammer, spiked gauntlet, and her formidable berserk rage for weapons.
Marcel, ID# 251
Oozing out charm, Marcel has an incredible knack for persuasion and guile. Many stories of his past circulate around the city, most involving narrow escapes from outraged noblemen and lovestruck women. All of life seems a game to Marcel, and one for which he appears to be making the rules. He is an accomplished devotee of magic, though perhaps too lazy to reach true greatness.
When forced into combat Marcel normally meets his opponents using a rapier and spiked gauntlet, wearing padded armor.
Phineas Jole, ID# 252
When not explaining magic to any who are even faintly interested Phineas keeps mostly to himself. He is always busy with many experiments and research projects, but can always find time to aid those with questions on magic.
Phineas Jole considers himself a scholar, but the somewhat absentminded mage is also quite handy with the quarterstaff.
Zonkdcha, ID# 253
Rumored to have sold his brothers into slavery, Zonkdcha has worked long and hard to be the meanest, baddest halftroll in all of Ciston.
Zonkdcha usually wears studded leather armor, holding a club and large shield. His hobby is mashing mages and politicians.
Sebastian, ID# 254
Sebastian is a whirlwind in combat, but somewhat, well... slow in all other activities. He's certainly more pleasant and polite than most of Ciston's inhabitants, but Sebastian always seems a bit preoccupied or apathetic.
When fighting Sebastian uses his short spear with lightning speed, while wearing leather armor and a chainmail coif.
Zo, ID# 255
The last known surviving member of Goldmoon's Rangers, Zo yearns for the day when she feels it is time to search out the fate of her group. The allelven party ventured into the swamp with an ancient key, thought to open a passage to an underground vault of unsurpassed mystery, danger, and wealth. That was over three years ago. Zo has long since recovered from the disease which kept her from going, but continues to hone her skills patiently.
Zo fights with a longsword and spiked gauntlet, wearing leather armor and a light helm.
Tars, ID# 256
Tars is a hulking minotaur with a genuine love for doing evil. Though his word can be trusted, and he certainly fulfills all his duties as a senior member without fault, Tars seems to do everything with a malicious glint in his eye.
Tars normally fights with a greatsword and spiked gauntlet, wearing studded leather armor.
Masher, ID# 257
After spending some years travelling as a boxer and brawler, Masher seems to have settled into the responsibilities and privileges as an instructor here in Ciston. When it comes to handling unruly fans, no one is better than Masher at roughing them up and out without killing them.
Often Masher fights only with a pair of spiked gauntlets, but once in a while he dons scale armor and a chainmail coif as well.
Shaduk Thunder, ID# 258
Shaduk gained most of his scars (and lost quite a few friends) in the Goblin War, and sometimes seem to experience flashbacks to what he considers the good old days'. It's doubtful this gnarled dwarf will ever call a goblin friend, but he does seem to keep his fuming to himself for the most part.
Shaduk Thunder is devastating with his warhammer and medium shield, and wears chainmail and a light helm for protection.
Takuan, ID# 259
Takuan makes every effort to be helpful and friendly to every guild member. Being a goblin he has no chance with Shaduk, yet Takuan tries. As a warrior Takuan is quite impressive, and he is most willing to share whatever knowledge he has. There is more to Takuan though. He seems too confident, too poised, as if her were imbued with some supernatural power.
Takuan enters combat with longsword and shortsword, wearing leather armor and a light helm.
Sadie Tojandiir, ID# 260
As guild leader in Ciston, Sadie is not one to have her authority questioned. Being a female halfling with a notorious thieving background does not do much for a tough image, but the reputation of Sadie's many powerful friends and allies provide her with considerable might. Sadie frequently reminds guild members that the guild is a family, and a business. Stick to the rules, and you will always be welcome regardless of your personal views and desires.
In combat Sadie often wields a shortsword and dagger, and typically wears studded leather armor and a light helm.
